I sit here today, looking out my window at the world, and realized I see more than just the garage, the horse pasture, the pine tree full of birds and snow. I see the world. You see, this is where I sit and read, and write, and daydream. So this really is where I see the world.
Today I was looking out the window, and I was daydreaming about a new saddle, then that took me to a new horse that's already trained, then riding that horse, then a trip to AB or BC where I can go for a riding tour through the mountains. So far I have seen from rural Ontario to the mountains in BC. All from my kitchen window.
At this moment, there is a Blue Jay out on the pine tree. I wonder where he has been. Funny, I don't know much about them, other than they are beautiful.
"This common, large songbird is familiar to many people, with its perky crest; blue, white, and black plumage; and noisy calls. Blue Jays are known for their intelligence and complex social systems with tight family bonds. Their fondness for acorns is credited with helping spread oak trees after the last glacial period." http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Blue_Jay/lifehistory
Please go there and check it out. There really is a lot of interesting information about birds of all kinds. I think it will be a page I will visit often now.
I must get up and go do some chores, but I will be back later with more views.
